Gone but Not Forgotten
 

I had to say good-bye to Waltman's This is Lyras Song via Wrinkle Market - Izzie.    Izzie was my friend my girl, she loved me through some rough times and never has one of my Pei loved me like she did.  Izzie was a gorgeous isabella dilute brush coat.  Her father was Wrinkle Market's Chocolate Mousse, who was a beautiful and special chocolate brush coat, which was bought and lived with the Waltmans.  Izzie was not shown, although purchased for that purpose, but due to a medical  problem was destined to be a friend and pet as a part of the Wrinkle Market.  There was a surprise before she was old enough to spay, Dinger and his sister Lilly were born as a surprise from Ming and Izzie, because after Ming's cancer treatment he was supposed to be sterile.   I lost Dinger to cancer and miss him everyday, Lilly still runs free at the Wrinkle Market.   There will never be another Izzie, she lives in my heart and mind and tears will fall for her for a long period.  I look for her everywhere, but only the memories and love fill my heart.  Izzie I miss you and think of you everyday.  Run free and safe with Dinger, Mousse and all the other Wrinkle Market Shar Pei, thank you for loving me so, and being my best friend.  I will never forget the love and your beautiful face.  Your mom.

We had to say good-bye to Wrinkle Market's Ming's lilac dynasty - Dinger.  Dinger was a gorgeous lilac horse coat with his dads spunk.  Dinger and his sister Lilly were born as a surprise from Ming and Izzie, because after Ming's cancer treatment he was supposed to be sterile.  They were not shown or bred they were a part of The Wrinkle Market because they were Ming's children, and Ming was such a big portion of The Wrinkle Market's progress.  I love Dinger so, he helped me through losing Ming and some rough times.  He was my friend and my son. he was only 6 when he said good-bye with lymphoma.  He was such a big part of this kennel and I think of him and miss him every day.  Run free and safe Dinger and thank you for loving me.

Please meet Wrinkle Market's Every Which Way  but Loose, we called him Clyde. Clyde was a red fawn guy with a black mask, such a good looking boy.   Clyde was shown and did great in show ring, but a scare made him just needing 1 major to be a Champion.  Clyde will and was always a champion in my heart and mind.  He was always happy even living in the kennel, although Clyde never sired puppies he would have made a great dad.  I lost Mr. Clyde too early leaving a huge hole in my heart.  He had a twisted stomach and could not be saved. We here at the Wrinkle Market will always cherish your memory and love you forever.

I was there as you were delivered. I raised and loved you for 4 months, then you were placed. When you were about 2 years old your owner had me board his other Shar Pei and you. At that point, I rescued you! Your owner no longer wanted you. Seems when you shook your head, slobber went on things. Well imagine owning a Shar Pei and that not happening. You were loved and cared for as one of my kids. First you went blind, we were dealing OK with this, and then your kidneys failed and I had to let you go to the Rainbow Bridge. Knight, you were a great Shar Pei, so loving and friendly. You made me smile a lot. My heart is breaking! I miss you!

Fuller was a one of a kind. He came to The Wrinkle Market at age 4 months from the Double O Kennel in Elk City, Oklahoma.  This stunning red fawn male not only captured our hearts, but also captured the judges by receiving his championship at 19 months.   He owned a room when he walked in, the show ring was his, my heart was his.  Tears still fall when I think of Fuler, we miss you son you were a one of a kind that will always live in our memory.

Lei Ling I was there when you were hours old to hold you, and I fell in love with you almost instantly.  I was so proud the day I brought you home and you began your journey as the first Champion for the The Wrinkle Market Chinese Shar-pei Kennel.  Your precious life was so short, but you made a footprint in my heart for all time.  Your wiggle, your look that was like a smile, your grace and love.  Thank you for all you gave.

The boy that won our hearts and filled it with such pride.  To lose such a wonderful friend so early in life is hard to fathom.  I know you will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge where once again we will be reunited.  Thank you for the offspring you left for us to cherish.  Always loved, never forgotten.

ThisCowboy seemed to be a champion at birth, he hit the show circuit and could not be stopped, becoming a champion in a very small amount of shows. He has a sure thing because of his large head, square frame and personalty in abundance. Cowboy was retired from the show ring after the 2008 Nationals and runs and plays with his other Pei friends. Above, so much is said about Tar Baby in the right up and what she meant to me, she was one of the greatest additions to my breeding program.  Tar Baby was my friend.  She loved people and was such an emissary for the breed.  She extended her love and proved the Shar Pei are such a loving and dedicated breed.  Tar Baby is thought of everyday, missed everyday, stories told about her by so many fellow Shar Pei owners.  She was a legacy in the breed.  I love you Tar Baby.

Meet Wrinkle Market's White Tornado, better known as Mr. Clean. Our cream with slight apricot tint male is hitting the show circuit and is sure to mop up and get rid of his competition. Mr. Clean truly showed like a white tornado. He will be sorely missed.
