The year 2008 was a year that you hope you
never have to re-live when breeding dogs. The Wrinkle
Market lost 3 of their loved and cherished family of Shar
Pei; Mr. Bill’s Tar Baby, Wrinkle Market’s Spinnin Cotton
Candy and CH Double O Full Speed Ahead.

Wrinkle Market's Spinnin Cotton
Candy
9-21-04 - Oct 2008

| Cotton
(Wrinkle Market's Spinnin Cotton Candy) started traveling the
show circuit at 6 months of age, and at the 2005 Shar Pei
Nationals placed and showed like a champ even though she was
recovering from her leg injury. When barely into her show
career Cotton had an injury to her right back knee resulting
in surgery. The surgery was a success but unfortunately left
Cotton with a slight limp ending her show career. Cotton as a
retired girl loved to go with her buddy Fuller. Cotton was
warm, loving and a caring girl, she made you laugh and loved
to snuggle. I miss you Cottie. I know you are spinnin in
Rainbow Ridge. |
CH. Double O Full Speed Ahead
8-31-05 - Oct 2008

| Fuller came
to The Wrinkle Market at age 4 months from the Double O Kennel
in Elk City, Oklahoma. This stunning red fawn male not only
captured our hearts, but also captured the judges by receiving
his championship at 19 months. Fuller was shown in Best of
Breed and carried home that title. His favorite part of each
day was following Mike around and going for rides in the car.
Fuller along with Cotton were lost in a tragic accident that
left me heart broken. Fuller was a one of a kind. He owned a
room when he walked in, the show ring was his, my heart was
his. Tears still fall when I think of Fuler, we miss you son
you were a one of a kind that will always live in our memory. |
Mr. Bill's Tar Baby, CGC
3/22/2000 -- 10-08-2008

We retired Tar Baby in
2007 at the age of 7, her retirement was well earned by the
vast amount of exceptional offspring she gave to the breed.
The Wrinkle Market has CH Wrinkle Market’s Rae of Sun, CH
Wrinkle Market’s T’Baby Truffles, CH Wrinkle Market’s Crème
d’ Pearl, Wrinkle Market’s Some Like It Hot, and Wrinkle
Market’s Fudge Delight from her litters. Also residing at
the Wrinkle Market is her grand child Wrinkle Market’s White
Tornado. The Wrinkle Market is proud to say Tar Baby
also has other descendants which have been placed with our
show friends that are currently on the show circuit. A true
Princess who reigned over our kennel.
Above, so much
is said about Tar Baby in the right up and what she meant to
me, she was one of the greatest additions to my breeding
program. Tar Baby was my friend. She loved people and was
such an emissary for the breed. Tar’s favorite time of the
year was the Reliant World of Dog Shows in Houston, Texas.
Tar earned her Good Citizen badge and was proud to show it
off. That was her time to shine in the Meet the Breed Ring,
she extended her love and proved the Shar Pei are such a
loving and dedicated breed. Tar Baby is thought of
everyday, missed everyday, stories told about her by so many
fellow Shar Pei owners. She was a legacy in the breed. I
love you Tar Baby.

Wrinkle Market's Sedona's Redrock

| The boy that won our hearts
and filled it with such pride. To lose such a wonderful
friend so early in life is hard to fathom. I know you will
be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge where once again we will be
reunited. Thank you for the offspring you left for us to
cherish. Always loved, never forgotten. |
Ch. Wrinkle Market's Lei Ling

| Lei Ling I was there when you were hours old to hold
you, and I fell in love with you almost instantly. I
was so proud the day I brought you home and you began your
journey as the first Champion for the The Wrinkle Market
Chinese Shar-pei Kennel. Your precious life was so
short, but you made a footprint in my heart for all time.
Your wiggle, your look that was like a smile, your grace and
love. Thank you for all you gave. I know Sedona
and all the Wrinkle Market Pei's are not lonely with you by
their side.
Love always, Mom.
